This includes your records, your diagnosis and treatment details, and anything that could identify you as a client of Temple's Garden. We do not disclose this information without your written consent, except where required or permitted by law — such as imminent risk of harm, suspected abuse, or a valid court order.
Every channel is protected
The same protections apply across every way you reach us. No channel is treated as informal or unguarded:
- Text messaging — used only to coordinate care; clinical details are kept to a minimum.
- Email — encrypted where possible; never used to transmit sensitive records unsecured.
- Client portal — the secure home for forms, documents, and messaging with your provider.
- Phone — voicemails and calls are handled with the same confidentiality as a session.
We never sell or share your information
Temple's Garden does not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health information to anyone — ever. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other commercial purpose. Your information is used solely to provide your care and to meet the legal and ethical obligations that protect you.
How we use and share your information
We use your information to provide your care, coordinate with other treating providers when you authorize it, bill insurance when applicable, and meet legal record-keeping requirements. You have the right to request your records, ask for corrections, receive an accounting of certain disclosures, and receive a copy of this notice in writing.
